3 Pcs LPG Tanker Trailer Delivery to Philippines — HOWO Special Truck Export Successful Delivery | Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Export

In January 2026, we exported 3 units of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) tanker trailers to an energy distribution company in Manila, Philippines. These specialized pressure vessel trailers are designed for the safe transportation of propane and butane gas throughout the Philippine archipelago, where LPG serves as the primary cooking fuel for millions of households and as an industrial energy source for businesses.

The Philippines customer operates a network of LPG distribution centers serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao islands. They required tanker trailers that meet international pressure vessel safety standards while being suitable for transportation on Philippine roads — which vary from modern expressways to narrow provincial roads — and for use on inter-island RORO ferry services that connect the country's 7,000+ islands.

We supplied 58,000-liter capacity LPG tanker trailers constructed from Q345R pressure vessel steel, manufactured in full compliance with ASME Section VIII Division 1 certification requirements and DOT specification. Each trailer features a single-compartment cylindrical tank with elliptical heads, designed for a maximum working pressure of 1.77 MPa (approximately 257 psi) and hydrostatically tested at 2.21 MPa to ensure absolute safety.

Safety is paramount in LPG transportation, and these trailers are equipped with comprehensive safety systems including emergency shut-off valves on all liquid and vapor lines, excess flow valves that automatically close in case of line rupture, spring-loaded pressure relief devices, temperature monitoring sensors with alarm systems, and static grounding connections to dissipate electrical charge during loading operations. The trailers underwent rigorous pressure testing, radiographic examination (RT), and non-destructive testing (NDT) by certified third-party inspectors before delivery.

The running gear features 3 axles with WABCO ABS braking and air suspension for stable transportation on Philippine roads and safe loading/unloading on ferry ramps where gradients can be steep. All external fittings, valves, piping, and safety equipment are protected by a robust steel guard structure to prevent damage during transit on narrow rural roads.

We provided the customer with complete certification packages including ASME U-stamp certificates, third-party inspection reports, material test certificates, and Philippine BIR (Bureau of Customs) import compliance documentation. Our shipping partners handled the ocean freight from Shanghai Port to Manila North Harbor, with proper hazardous goods classification (IMO Class 2.1 — Flammable Gas) and handling procedures throughout the voyage.

The customer has reported safe and reliable operation of the LPG tanker trailers across their distribution network, serving hundreds of communities and industrial facilities in Luzon and Visayas regions.
