In April 2026, we successfully prepared and shipped 4 units of SINOTRUK HOWO NX 8x4 dump trucks to a construction company based in Accra, Ghana. The customer specializes in road construction and earthworks projects throughout the Greater Accra region and required heavy-duty equipment capable of operating in demanding tropical conditions.
The HOWO NX series represents the latest generation of SINOTRUK heavy-duty dump trucks, featuring a modern aerodynamic cabin design, upgraded 400HP engine with improved fuel efficiency, and advanced electronic control systems for better drivability. These trucks are specifically engineered for demanding construction and mining applications where reliability and payload capacity are paramount.
Each dump truck has a cargo box capacity of 30 cubic meters, constructed from high-tensile wear-resistant steel to withstand the abrasive nature of Ghana's laterite soils and construction aggregates. The hydraulic lifting system uses imported components from leading European manufacturers, ensuring smooth and reliable tipping operations even under maximum load conditions in temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius.
Our engineering team worked closely with the Ghana customer to customize these trucks with tropical climate specifications, including enhanced cooling systems, heavy-duty dust-proof air filters, UV-resistant cabin materials, and tropical-grade rubber seals. These modifications ensure optimal performance and extended service life in Ghana's hot and humid climate conditions.
The trucks were loaded at Qingdao Port using heavy-lift cranes, with each unit carefully secured according to international shipping standards.
