In March 2026, we proudly delivered 10 units of SINOTRUK HOWO 6x4 tractor trucks to a leading logistics company in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This significant order represents our continued expansion into East African markets and strengthens our partnership with major transportation operators in one of Africa's fastest-growing economies.

The Tanzania client operates a large-scale logistics network connecting Dar es Salaam port — the gateway to East Africa — with inland destinations including Dodoma, Mwanza, and neighboring countries such as Zambia, Rwanda, Burundi, and the eastern regions of DRC. They required a fleet of reliable, fuel-efficient tractor trucks to replace their aging vehicles and expand their transportation capacity to meet growing demand.

We supplied HOWO 420HP tractor trucks featuring the HW79 high-roof cabin with sleeper berth, ideal for long-haul routes where drivers spend multiple days on the road covering distances of 1,000+ kilometers. Each truck is equipped with ABS braking systems for safety on Tanzania's mountain passes, power steering, and air conditioning to ensure driver comfort during extended journeys across East Africa's varied climate zones.

The 6x4 drive configuration with differential lock provides excellent traction on Tanzania's varied road surfaces, from the well-maintained Tarmac highways connecting major cities to the gravel and earth roads in rural areas and border crossings. The 400-liter fuel tank capacity allows for extended range between refueling stops, an important consideration for cross-border transportation where fuel station infrastructure can be sparse.

All 10 units underwent rigorous pre-delivery inspection at our Jinan facility, including 200-kilometer road tests to verify engine performance, transmission smoothness, and brake efficiency under loaded conditions. We provided the customer with detailed inspection reports for each unit, complete with photos and performance data.

The fleet was delivered to Dar es Salaam Port with full customs documentation, and our local service partner in Tanzania provided on-site driver training and initial maintenance support to ensure smooth fleet integration.
