The DMO (Dual Mode Off-road) super hybrid platform combines a 1.5T turbocharged gasoline engine with dual electric motors to produce a combined 316 kW (430 HP) and 650 Nm of torque. This enables a 0-100 km/h sprint of just 5.7 seconds — faster than many sports cars. Despite this performance, the Shark achieves a remarkable combined fuel consumption of just 3.5 L/100 km in hybrid mode thanks to the efficiency of electric drive.

The 29.6 kWh Blade Battery provides 100 km of pure electric range — enough for daily commuting and urban deliveries without using any gasoline. When the battery depletes, the hybrid system seamlessly extends range to over 800 km total. DC fast charging at 80 kW adds 80% battery in approximately 30 minutes.

The intelligent 4WD system with dual motors provides superior traction and torque vectoring. The 220 mm ground clearance, 32-degree approach angle, and specialized sand/mud/rock terrain modes provide genuine off-road capability. The 3,500 kg braked towing capacity and 1,200 kg payload make the Shark a serious work truck when needed.

The interior is unmistakably premium — a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen running BYD DiLink, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Nappa leather seats with ventilation and heating, and a 10-speaker premium audio system. The 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking provide comprehensive safety coverage.

The exterior design is bold and muscular — a massive grille with LED lighting, flared wheel arches, 20-inch alloy wheels, and quad exhaust tips create an imposing presence. The cargo bed features a durable liner, four tie-down points, and an optional power outlet for running tools and equipment.
