Unlike conventional hybrids, the Hunter uses a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) architecture: two electric motors (one front, one rear) provide all-wheel drive with a combined 200 kW (272 HP) and 470 Nm of instantaneous torque. The 1.5L gasoline engine serves exclusively as a generator to recharge the battery — it never directly drives the wheels. This means the Hunter always delivers the smooth, silent, instant-torque driving experience of an electric vehicle.

The 35 kWh battery pack provides over 200 km of pure electric range — sufficient for multiple days of urban commuting or short-haul deliveries without the range extender activating. When longer distances are needed, the 1.5L generator engine automatically starts to maintain battery charge, extending total range past 1,000 km. The battery supports DC fast charging at 80 kW, adding 100 km of range in just 20 minutes.

The dual-motor AWD system provides intelligent torque vectoring between the front and rear axles, delivering superior traction on wet roads, gravel, and moderate off-road terrain. The 210 mm ground clearance and 30-degree approach angle provide genuine off-road capability, while the 1,000 kg payload and 2,500 kg towing capacity match conventional gasoline pickups.

The interior defies pickup truck conventions — a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, leather upholstery, and a 6-speaker audio system create a premium cabin environment. The 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping assist bring ADAS features to the pickup segment.

With energy costs approximately 70% lower than an equivalent gasoline pickup, the Hunter offers compelling economics for commercial operators — especially in markets with rising fuel prices. The near-silent electric operation is also ideal for urban delivery routes with noise restrictions.
