The XCMG SQZ series hydraulic crane provides a 37-ton lifting capacity — sufficient to handle fully loaded 40ft containers weighing up to 30.5 tons gross. The crane features a 3-section telescopic boom with a maximum outreach of 6.5 meters, enabling container placement beyond the trailer's immediate footprint. The crane operates via a dedicated hydraulic power pack driven by the tractor's PTO or an independent diesel engine.

Hydraulic stabilizer legs deploy automatically before lifting operations, extending the trailer's footprint by 3.2 meters on each side to ensure complete stability during container lifts. The stabilizers feature ground pressure sensors that prevent lifting operations if the ground is too soft — protecting both the trailer and the container from tipping accidents.

The trailer chassis is a reinforced flatbed design with 12 ISO twist locks for both 20ft and 40ft container configurations. When the crane is not in use, the trailer functions as a standard flatbed container trailer for highway transport. The crane boom folds compactly alongside the trailer body, maintaining road-legal dimensions during transit.
