3 Axle 40ft Flatbed Container Trailer

The 3 Axle 40ft Flatbed Container Trailer is the industry standard for long-distance container transport and general cargo haulage. With a 12.5-meter deck length and three heavy-duty axles, this flatbed trailer handles both 20ft and 40ft ISO containers as well as oversized machinery, building materials, and palletized cargo with a rated payload of 60 tons.

The flatbed deck is built from high-strength Q345B checked steel plate with a durable anti-slip surface. Twelve ISO twist locks are positioned for both 20ft and 40ft container configurations, enabling flexible loading operations. When not carrying containers, the flat deck serves as a versatile platform for machinery transport, steel coil haulage, and project cargo.

Three BPW or FUWA 13-ton axles with heavy-duty parabolic leaf spring suspension or optional air suspension provide excellent load distribution and ride quality. The WABCO ABS+EBS electronic braking system with automatic slack adjusters delivers precise, responsive braking under all load conditions. The reinforced main beam (500mm height with 14mm/16mm flanges) ensures structural integrity even under maximum payload.

This 3-axle flatbed trailer is the backbone of intermodal container logistics across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Its 60-ton payload capacity handles two fully loaded 20ft containers or one heavy 40ft container with ease. The JOST 2-inch kingpin and heavy-duty landing gear provide reliable coupling with all major tractor head brands including HOWO, Shacman, and FAW.

Optional configurations include extendable decks for oversized cargo, front and rear marker posts, timber deck overlays, side stake pockets with removable posts, and tarpaulin systems. Air suspension with axle lift is available for fragile cargo and reduced tire wear.
