The Foton G9 16-Seat Gasoline Passenger Van is a purpose-built people mover designed for commercial passenger transport operations. With seating for 16 passengers plus the driver, a reliable 2.4L gasoline engine, and a robust construction that withstands the demands of daily commercial use, the G9 is the go-to choice for shuttle services, school transport, church groups, hotel transfers, and employee transportation across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

The 2.4L naturally aspirated inline-4 gasoline engine produces 100 kW (136 HP) and 200 Nm of torque — providing adequate power for fully loaded operations while maintaining fuel efficiency of approximately 9.5 L/100 km. The 5-speed manual transmission is simple, reliable, and cost-effective to maintain in regions where automatic transmission servicing may be limited. The 65L fuel tank provides a range of approximately 650 km between fill-ups.

The passenger cabin is configured with 16 forward-facing seats arranged in a 2+2+3+3+3+3 layout. Each seat features a three-point seatbelt, individual headrest, and grab handle. The aisle width of 380 mm allows passengers to walk to their seats without excessive squeezing. Overhead luggage racks and a rear luggage compartment accommodate passenger belongings.
